Our K1 Cockpit Handles are made of a rigid plastic to offer a structured K1 portage handle. Positioned either side of the cockpit rim, they are slightly longer than the K2 version to allow you to reposition to balance the kayak. Can offer easier and more secure grip when portaging than holding at the cockpit.
If you are retrofitting these handles yourself, please ensure the mounting area has sufficient reinforcement to withstand the additional load applied when lifting the boat by the handles.
Supplied with stainless screws and washers.
Note: Do not over-bending the handles, as it may cause it to kink. We recommend a hole spacing of 325mm.
