The OG Paddle Prints watch holder is back, and with some upgrades. This version uses the included GoPro compatible self-adhesive mount (flat type) for a super secure fitting to your kayak deck. The specially designed ergonomic base is manufactured from a highly water-resistant, duriable and impact resistant polymer for extra piece of mind.
Designed by Francis Huntingford, and modified by us, this universal design is super floaty and comes with a satisfying click-in adapter so you can switch between small and large size watch straps - this means is always easy to get to your watch buckle. The front recess accommodates all common biometric sensors for a positive fit to the body of the holder, and the generous size allows for wide straps up to 30mm. At the front of the base, is a 4.5mm tether point which we strongly encourage you to use (with something like a GoPro style self-adhesive tether point) or similar for maximum safety. Pick a bright colour if you want it to be easy to spot if the worst does happen.
Fitting notes
We source proper 3M adhesive pads but as always with adhesives, surface preparation is the secret to getting a good bond. Find a smooth area of the deck and clean the surface with soap and fresh water. Firmly press the mount into place ensuring full contact at room temperature. For best results allow 24-hours for adhesive to work its magic before applying any load. You can remove the mount with a little gentle heat from a hairdryer and slowly peel it back, but bear in mind the adhesive pad is not reusable.
