This version of the hooded light uses the popular self-adhesive GoPro compatible mounting system for maximum hold strength. With the in-build buckle-like clip, this light can be snapped in and out very quickly as needed. The hood is ideal for situations where you need to protect your night vision, such as a front deck positioning or when portaging. There is a there point at the back of the lamp holder body which should also be used if possible just incase your light takes heavy knock.
Two-in-one design
The unique two in one design means the light can be quickly removed and used as a clip-on personal safety light as well. Pop the light off the light holder body and snap it onto a pocket or strap on your PFD. The clip itself also has two holes on the back so can easily be tethered to your clothing for extra security.
We only use genuine Guardian Expedition lights. These amazing waterproof lights run for ages and weigh practically nothing, making them perfect for training, racing and extreme endurance races like the Devises to Westminster. This light’s primary function is for safety so that you can be seen, it’s not a super-bright headlight, but they are still surprisingly useful for illuminating nearby surfaces in low-light, like the ground when carrying the boat upside-down.

Fitting notes
We source proper 3M adhesive pads but as always with adhesives, surface preparation is the secret to getting a good bond. Find a smooth area of the deck and clean the surface with soap and fresh water. Firmly press the mount into place ensuring full contact at room temperature. For best results allow 24-hours for adhesive to work its magic before applying any load. You can remove the mount with a little gentle heat from a hairdryer and slowly peel it back, but bear in mind the adhesive pad is not reusable.
