Our K1 Cockpit Handles are made of a rigid plastic to offer a structured K1 portage handle. Positioned either side of the cockpit rim, they are slightly longer than the K2 version to allow you to reposition to balance the kayak. Can offer easier and more secure grip when portaging than holding at the cockpit.
If you are buying these to retrofit yourself, you will need to ensure the area you are fitting these to has sufficient reinforcement to handle the new forces applied when the boats is lifted by the handles.
